This protocol deals with the handling of a protest issued by one of the teams. Teams can only protest against the interpretation of the rules. The protest protocol consists of two levels. Level 1 is applied during the match while level 2 is applied once the match has ended.
In Austria, protests are only possible at the national championship.
Prior the application of a protest, the following steps have to be taken:
Ein Level-1-Protest wird direkt am Court vom Hauptschiedsrichter bearbeitet.
Eine Level-2-Protest kommt zur Anwendung, wenn ein Level-1-Protest nicht durchführbar (kein Hauptschiedsrichter anwesend) oder abgelehnt war oder ein Level-1-Protest gestattet aber dann vom gegnerischen Team ein Protest gegen diese Entscheidung eingebracht wurde. Zusätzlich wird ein Level-2-Protest angewandt, wenn die Situation gegen die protestiert wird sich nach dem Ende des Spiels ereignet hat.
